PowerTorque Engines is one of Queensland's leading high performance engine building and tuning workshops.
We specialise in LS1 to LS3 engines and provide a range of products and services for late model Holden and their HSV variants.
History
Commencing business in 2000 as a contracted race engine building workshop, PowerTorque Engines was responsible for building and tuning race engines for V8 Supercars, sport sedans, offshore power boats and off road race vehicles.
With the introduction of the LS1 engine to Australia and more importantly, specific engine tuning software, PowerTorque Engines had a major change in focus and became dedicated to offering performance upgrade packages to LS1 powered road cars (and race cars) using the many years of experience gain from extensive race engine building.
In July 2007, Walkinshaw Performance appointed PowerTorque Engines as the Queensland distributer for it's range of performance parts and packages.
Present Day
Currently PowerTorque Engines is operating out of two locations to best service our customers. We have workshops in Brendale on the north side of Brisbane and at Ormeau which is situated halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Both locations offer full workshop and chassis dyno facilities, with the Brendale workshop also containing an engine dyno.
