Custom Tuning
Offering either MAF or MAFless tuning, Powertorque Engines can extract the very best from your engine package. By optimising ignition timing events and air/fuel ratios, a customers tune will generate better power, better fuel economy and better throttle response by maximising the efficiency of your engine package.
Custom tuning also allows alteration of rev limitation, torque management settings and in automatics, shift pattern can be customised to suit individual requests. On a car with exhaust and cold air intake modification, gains of 20-30kW at the wheels are achievable.
Exhaust Systems
One of the most effective ways to increase the efficiency of your engine is with the use of a free flowing exhaust system. Larger diameter pipes and less restrictive mufflers will give you car the sound to match the perfomance and will help in letting the engine breathe.
Powertorque Engines offer a range of exhaust options from cat back systems, through to full systems, with extractors and high flow catalytic converters. Both mild steel and stainless steel systems are available.
Cold Air Intake
A number of options from replacement high flow panel filters, through to new air boxes or over the radiator style of cold air intake, to improve air flow into an engine and offers gains in power and efficiency. A cold air intake will also add a deep induction roar under wide open throttle.
